Most spaces don't ask anything of you. You walk in, order, wait, leave. ão studio designed this one to make you stop instead.

Every surface here is soft. Walls, ceiling, the bar itself — all wrapped in individual cushions, deep enough to lean into, mounted one by one so each can be lifted off and cared for on its own. This is the studio's guiding question at work — what does a space ask of the person standing in it? Most interiors only ask you to look. This one asks you to touch, to feel the give of the cushions under your hand, to notice how sound softens in a room with no hard edges left to bounce off. Sight is only the first sense a room like this is built for.

The softness isn't decoration. It's the whole argument: that a coffee bar can hold you the way a room holds you, not just move you through it.
